Mutton Bustin is a fan favorite where kids between the ages of 5 and 7 can ride a sheep for as long as they can hold on. It’s a thrilling experience that never fails to put a smile on everyone’s face. On this page, you can learn about the rules, registration process, and other important details. So come on down and join us for some Mutton Bustin fun at the Cassia County Fair and Rodeo! Cost is $25. Register online through the linked buttons below. See the rules at the end of this page. Only can register for one per night.

Want to Ride the Sheep?
Here is all the information you need to know.

  • Register by visiting the Event Brite pages and signing up. See Red buttons above. Registration opens at 9AM on Wednesday, July 23rd
  • You may only participate on one of the three nights. Attempts to register for multiple nights will result in disqualification.
  • Participants must be between the ages of 5 and 7.
  • Participant’s weight must not exceed 55 pounds.
  • Long sleeve shirts, pants and no open toed shoes.
  • There is no deadline, we will post when we are out of spots.
  • Prizes may be awarded!
  • A parent or guardian must complete and sign the below waiver prior to participation. Please print it and bring it with you.
  • Confirmed riders and 1 parent/guardian should meet at the Fair Office at 7PM.
  • 10 Spots Available Per Night. First 10 for each night will receive an automatic confirmation email as well as a call from the Fairboard representative.
  • A Waitlist of 5 per night is available. We will let those on the waitlist know if a spot becomes available. Those on waitlist should not show up at Fair Office 7PM meeting unless informed via phone call prior by a Fairboard representative.
  • Please bring $25 cash entry fee.
